Streamergirl is part of my Berlin People Series, a collection inspired by the people you might encounter while walking through the streets of Berlin. It is one of my earlier works and reflects the beginnings of my distinctive visual language.
The portrait is built from bold, block-like brushstrokes that resemble a mosaic. Rather than blending forms smoothly, these painterly shapes construct the figure through color and geometry, giving the work both structure and rhythm.
The model's sensual pose, together with the leafy branch surrounding her, creates an atmosphere of quiet intimacy. Dressed in a simple tank top, she embodies an effortless confidence that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Through my semi-abstract approach, the painting moves beyond the likeness of a single individual. It becomes a portrait of a character, capturing the understated beauty, confidence, and individuality that can be found in everyday life on the streets of Berlin.
